Month of Love
We are often told that February is the month of love, with hearts and flowers everywhere, in amongst the promise of chocolates and kisses.
Valentines Day, despite if you celebrate or not, is everywhere around us at this time of the year. Walking into any shop will provide a reminder that the special day is looming and the pressure is on to make your special someone feel loved.
As a business that includes two couples (albeit not super romantic ones) you would think we would be more on the ball when it came to advertising some of our products for Valentines Day gifts. After all we have the jerky which is a great option for the man that's hard to buy for, be it the Chilli flavor for those who like a bit of spice in their life or the dependable Original flavor that still packs good flavor without the extra burn.
If you are still looking for options for the man in your life the leather timber wax is also a great option it works great on leather seats, leathers jackets, knife pouches, timber furniture and of course leather shoes.
The wax and the jerky also make great gifts for women along with our lovely natural skincare products from the pure emu oil, to the protective skin balm and moisturizing lip balms. The emu oil by its self is a wonderful skin moisturiser and a fantastic massage oil so its a great option for date night, as a pure oil it can be used everywhere without any concerns and thanks to vitamin A and E will leave your skin feeling soft.
Since the emu oil soaks into the skin so well leaving minimal residue we have created a skin balm which simply uses the protective barrier of natural beeswax. This post is of course coming out too late for Valentines Day 2026 shopping because once again we were unprepared for this little day. But the good news is our products are not a mug covered in hearts saying will you be my valentine, they don't change from one holiday to the next we just want to provide consistent natural products that help everyday.
